キルヒレンゲルンの山小屋＆キャビン・トップ19

In the heart of Bergkirchen, right at the top of the Wiehen Hills pass (163 meters above sea level), opposite the Church of St. Nicholas and the hotel-restaurant "Wittekindsquelle," stands this beautiful, solidly built mountain hut with a boulder in front of the entrance. It likely also serves as a bus shelter. This is not only the intersection of the roads from Rothenuffeln/Hartum/Oberlübbe/Haddenhausen/Minden (to the north) and Volmerdingsen/Bad Oeynhausen as well as Wulferdingsen/Halstern/Löhne (to the south), but also several popular cycling and hiking trails. Accordingly, the mountain hut is also equipped with tourist information boards.

Here you can relax for a while and hide from the bad weather in the hut. There are garden benches, tables and a small grill. There is also a parking space if you want to leave your car there.

Very spacious with 2 tables / continuous benches and is therefore also worthwhile for a longer rest. Illuminated in the evening. Noisy due to the proximity to the main road.
