A very pleasant incline and slight decline, which seems to roll along by itself. Thanks to the good surface, you can also let it run without compromise. The beginning and end are briefly a bit steeper at around 6-8%, while the large middle section flattens out to 2%. The uphill (towards Dobel) is very relaxed. However, all the empty spaces along the road exude a very morbid feeling, while the lack of traffic reinforces the loneliness. I wonder what life is like for the remaining residents here? I sometimes get a chill here.

Little motorized traffic and so much fun!

A wonderfully quiet valley with a long stretch of meadow and a little stream. However, I could not find the path on the meadow in April 2023.

The entire Holzbachtal is an idyll! Between the L565 and the junction towards Neusatz, you think you've zapped 50-60 years into the past. One or the other little house along the way or one or the other business from that time has survived, sometimes a bit scruffy. But with charm. Very romantic in terms of landscape. It's really worth not rushing through so quickly, whether coming from above or below. Look a little more to the right and left and perceive details. Strange how some areas in the Black Forest are so deserted! The Holzbachtal is not quite there yet, but there are also some properties for rent here!
