The Kalbsaumlacke is a small pond southeast of Jettsdorf, near the Danube. A typical Danube floodplain pond, it is a shallow body of still water that is periodically influenced by flooding from the Danube. Such ponds often form in old river channels, oxbow lakes, or through sediment deposits that separate areas from the main river. The Kalbsaumlacke serves as an important ecological microhabitat, providing a protected habitat for fish, amphibians, and waterfowl.

A very beautiful natural monument, located on the Dunkelsteinerwald circular hiking trail 653, next to which there is a rest area with a bench.

Depending on the season or water level, it's either a lake or a bog. As a lake, especially in autumn, it's a truly magical place!

Here you will find a small pond, the interesting thing is that it is the highest point. Not far from there is also the Große Seelacke.

As a surprise, you will find the Kleine Seelacke in the middle of the forest, interestingly almost at the highest point, and not far away is the Große Seelacke.
