Easily accessible from the parking lot, nice as a stopover about 15 minutes walk to the waterfall with two beautiful viewing platforms

The tour from Dölsach was very disappointing. Most of the way goes along the Drau, where you walk almost continuously in the sun in the morning and afternoon. Moreover, the entire path is gravel or asphalt. Only the last section in the forest and at the waterfall was very pleasant and good for walking.

Today I received the information from the municipality of Greifenburg that the entire route of the Goppnitzklamm can be accessed again. The wind and snow damage as well as the landslides of the last two years have been cleared up.

Status 07/19/2022, all crossings intact again. However, very little water, so that only the side canal carried water.

Beautiful parallel route to the Drau Cycle Path

Beautifully prepared entrance to Weidenburg (unfortunately only from the east). Start to a short path to the Weidenburger waterfall. Very scenic waterfall only poorly signposted.

Beautiful gorge, wild, rustling and also nice and cool in summer thanks to the shade of the trees 🌳🌳🌳
