Unfortunately, only a few meters are still accessible. The bridge has collapsed, and the hiking trail has therefore been closed.

On hot summer days, you can pack your swimsuit. There are a few accessible spots where the water is deeper. It's a refreshing way to cool off. In midsummer, the water is quite pleasant and not too cold.

Beautiful gorge for a leisurely little walk.

At the end of the gorge there is a water adventure world for children, which invites them to play in close contact with nature. If you still have enough energy, then hike on to the mountain church of Trögern. It is a branch church of the Ebriach parish and is only open during church services. The view from above into the Trögerner Gorge and the view of the Koschuta massif will reward you for your efforts. Make sure you take enough time for the way back, because only then will you return home with many unique impressions.

This area was declared a nature reserve because of its uniqueness. No changes may be made in such areas, which is why they have largely retained their originality. This gorge is a colorful mosaic of forests, ravines, rocks, natural springs, waterfalls and cascades and offers a unique natural landscape of exceptional character. Alpine vegetation elements and sub-Mediterranean species, as well as rare and endangered animal and plant species find their habitat here. In the stream bed you can find the wonderfully colorful conglomerates that have been beautifully polished by the white water. The numerous types of rock in which various fossils, mussel shells and snails as well as various bryozoan colonies and also fish have been found are also a treasure trove for those interested. After about 3 km the valley becomes a little wider again and we are at the end of the gorge. There is also a small rest stop at the water adventure world for children. Here you can have something to eat, have a drink and enjoy the wonderful view of the surrounding mountains!

The Kupitzklamm begins at the Gasthof Kupitz. By the way, there are parking options there. If you want to continue hiking after the Kupitzklamm, you can reach the St. Leonhard Church on path no. 611 after about 2 hours.

Very nice gorge! It is best to park your car at parking lot 2 (500m after the entrance to the valley) and enjoy the gorge! Simple shoes are enough as you walk along the narrow street.
