Nice swimming spot on the Štrkovisko na Židovkách. Very clear water and a shallow entry. On the other side of the lake there is a gravel quarry.

The Marchegg floodplain reserve near the Slovakian border is home to over 500 animal and plant species, some of which are highly endangered. Storks, white-tailed eagles, gray herons and beavers can be seen again and again. A herd of Konik horses also inhabits the nature reserve. These in turn attract grasshoppers and other insects.
