It is quite an experience to walk over the bridge. Access from Stams or parallel to the motorway from Riets or Pfaffenhofen

The access is blocked off at the bottom and the path itself is quite difficult. Not recommended.

I had actually deviated from my planned route here. But I saw on the map how I could get to the lake. First it went downhill, then uphill again and finally I was rewarded with this waterfall. If I hadn't taken this detour, I wouldn't have discovered it

From the suspension bridge you follow the path further east. After a short distance you will pass a small hydroelectric power station and reach the Stams waterfall. Here the water flows from the Lehnbach before flowing into the Inn.
