This beautifully winding road climbs and descends towards the dead end of this headland. Once there you can stop at the bar for food and drink and choose to cross over to the other side by boat, or cycle back and enjoy the many beautiful views of the loch that this route offers.

The "Misterious Pond" is not one pond but three. The owner of the farm next to the ponds uses them to raise Tilapia. He has cows, goats, a ship and pigs too and is proud of his 5 Acacia trees

quite the muddy incline. the trail is worn out and semi developed. It depends when in the year you are going up this ridge. I do not recommend coming here during the rain season

The top of Mount Muhabura is a very challenging but also very nice hike. You can do it from Ruanda or Uganda because the top is on the border of both countries.

In its upper part, this valley offers fantastic single trails to "fly" down. For those wanting to climb to Nzige and continue the northern shore of Lake Mugesera, this valley is highly recommend too: It is not too steep, the Lakes and the vegetable fields are just beautiful.
