A good place to hike and camp for a night. Be prepared to have loud neighbors with cars but they are stopping the music around 11PM😄

Swan Lake is one of the most famous sights in Yerevan. It is located right in the heart of the city, in a beautiful green garden. The author of the Swan Lake project is the famous architect Gevorg Musheghyan. The lake was named "Swan" in honor of Tchaikovsky's ballet of the same name because the lake is located near the National Academic Ballet Theater. Moreover, in the warm seasons of the year, you can see swans swimming in the lake, and in winter Swan Lake turns into an open skating ring.

This old road reflects where the shoreline of Lake Sevan used to be before the Soviets drained it by 18m in the mid 20th century. It's mostly asphalt, traffic free, and you get great views over the lake. It's easy to miss at the northern end – go round the back of the gas station! At the southern end, you can either reach Sevanavank via the underpass from the railway station, or continue to Sevan town itself.

Not really spectacular, but nice to walk around in the evening when the lights are on.

Nice little mountain lake - it was empty here during the week, but it is said to be very crowded on weekends. A climbing garden with zipline across the lake is offered.

Post-Soviet hotel that is gradually being renovated. It has a (stone) beach and swimming is possible. The most beautiful view of Lake Sevan is from the balcony room.

You can get there from the village of Sevaberd. It's quite a steep climb of about 10 kilometers with a 1000-meter elevation, but the views are stunning, and the journey is quite worth it.
