The Änggelauenseeli is the highest lake in the canton of Lucerne and is located at 1,659 meters in the municipality of Flühli, surrounded by a fairytale coniferous forest. From there, the larger Sewenseeli can also be reached quickly. Hikers can reach the lake in about three quarters of an hour from the Stäldeli inn and use the idyllic fireplace on the shore. A perfect place to relax and enjoy nature! 🌲

Family-friendly near the mountain railway.

At this point is a pretty pond with a fountain and two fire pits, several tables and seating. There is no canopy, but firewood is provided.

Grill a cervelat and enjoy the view. Very easy, without having to carry wood with you. A cozy corner to end the hike. In winter you have to push the snow away from time to time.

At this point there is a built fireplace with a bench and a table. There is also a wooden barrel with firewood in it. If you have a sausage with you, you can take a leisurely break here. The fireplace is in the middle of two small artificial lakes. Of course, you also have a great view of the mountains opposite.
