The Edlseer Alm, as the new start and finish area of the 12 km long Hoamat hiking trail, is intended to become a meeting point for generations. The public toilet facilities and the lounge are available to all visitors around the clock. The sun terrace invites you to linger and take a break - that's more or less the official version. Anyone expecting something culinary here will be sorely disappointed. The absolute highlight is a pizza machine, which with a bit of luck is not empty. Personally, I simply consider the project to be an advertising and pilgrimage site that you can avoid visiting if you're a 'non-fan'. But everyone has to decide that for themselves.

In mid-February 2023, the Edlseer Hoamathaus was moved to a new location in the middle of Birkfeld and right next to the R8 cycle path and rebuilt. An area was created around the house for all generations to feel good, relax and simply take time out. Great self-service hut with a wide range of offers. It's a shame that the owner no longer lets the paragliders fly. Was once a real asset. But that's how you consume a few drinks less 🤷🏻

The Olmstoll offers a wonderful hut atmosphere that you shouldn't miss. Not only the exceptionally great view, but also the delicious, down-to-earth specialties and hearty snacks invite you to linger. The Olmstoll offers exquisite wines and always fresh pastries. Here you can only feel good. There are enough parking spaces and buses are also welcome. Company parties, birthdays or club celebrations can be celebrated here in a cozy atmosphere.
