beautiful view of the nature reserve "Wöhrdener Loch" The 495 hectare “Wöhrdener Loch” in the north of the Meldorfer Speicherkoog is one of the two nature reserves that were created to compensate for the loss of around 1560 hectares of sandy tidal flats and around 900 hectares of foreland and salt marsh areas as a result of the diking. In contrast to the southern "Kronenloch", the "Wöhrdener Loch" is cut off from the salt water flow. A beautiful spot, pure nature

The forest area on the Katinger Watt is very atypical for the otherwise sparsely forested Eiderstedt peninsula. The forest was only laid out after the construction of the Eider barrage in 1868 and is quite sparse, probably also due to the sandy soil. The many water areas and Sielzüge offer unique photo opportunities. Birds can be watched from various lookout towers.

Only short sections through a small forest and meadows. Otherwise here mostly on asphalt through beautiful nature 🤩🥰!

Great hiking tour with kids but also an experience for the big ones, especially when the weather is very nice because there is a lot of shade.
