In principle, a nice idea for braving the tide and thus the lack of water at low tide. It's just not for cyclists passing through, as reckless, selfish cyclists have managed to push their bikes during the bathing season by ignoring the rules, so that bicycles are now completely banned from the areas around Büsum where you can see the water (or rather, the mudflats). According to my information, violating this ban is supposed to result in severe penalties, as the 'beach patrols' immediately call the police if a bicycle appears near the shore. They made an exception for my folded Brompton… 😉

A beautiful adventure trail with well-spaced information boards, viewpoints, and activity stations. You can also park legally here to set off on the suggested hikes.

In contrast to the southern "Kronenloch", the "Wöhrdener Loch" is cut off from the salt water flow.
