We disagree. While hiking poles can be helpful in some areas, they're less so in the Mordklinge gorge! In some places, you actually have to do some climbing. It's often much better to hold onto trees, roots, or rocks with your hands; poles are simply a hindrance! Our fellow hikers all agreed. The poles we brought along were always passed around for support whenever someone had already navigated a difficult section.

Both blades can be built into a tour very well because they are only a few meters apart!

... the "murder blade" is located near Oberneustetten (southeast of Murrhardt) in the Rems-Murr district, Baden-Württemberg. - a natural monument - the "Mordklingenbächle" flows through the blade - was supposedly a robber's hiding place in the past - we walked the way from "bottom to top" (I personally find it safer) - At first the path is still clearly visible and runs parallel to the "watercourse" of the blade - Sometimes you have to climb over trees that are lying across - Finally, a sign indicates the "unpaved hiking trail" and the "use at your own risk" - The path here is alpine-like and you have to orientate yourself very well - the wooden walkways are very weathered - sometimes the way is not recognizable and you go over "stick and stone" - "red" signs of the hiking trail network "should help with orientation - but do not despair, if necessary you just go back the way a little and find the right / better way through the blade - at the end you have to overcome another incline and you are again above the blade - the nature of the path depends on the weather - Surefootedness and sturdy shoes are a prerequisite for walking on this blade! - only for experienced hikers!
