A quarry lake that invites you to swim and relax. Pfordter See, which is fed by groundwater, originated from a gravel pit and covers an area of approximately 11 hectares in the Fulda floodplain in the Pfordt district. The shore of Pfordter See is very steep in some places and flat in others. In the warmer months, the lake is popular for swimming. Even in dry summers, the water level remains almost constant. On the northeast shore, there is a large lawn and a large parking lot.
