This agriturismo is situated on a hill with panoramic views of the sea and the Torre Guaceto nature reserve. The location is surrounded by the charm of the Itria Valley, with its picturesque villages. Donkeys, a dog, and four cats live on the estate, creating a warm, rural atmosphere. Dinners featuring traditional Pugliese dishes are available upon request, as are activities such as horseback riding, wine tours, massage, and wellness (spa, yoga, and PhysioWatsu). A place where nature, relaxation, and local flavors converge.

Trulli - or trullo when you’re talking about just one dwelling - were initially built to provide temporary field shelters and storehouses. Over time they also became permanent dwellings for agricultural families and labourers of smallholdings. The simple traditional lime whitewash that decorates the trulli’s exterior complements the local geology and pastoral landscapes. To protect against the elements and balance the temperature all year round, the trulli walls are incredibly thick, made up of a double skin filled with rubble. Similarly, the doorways and windows are small. These iconic rural dwellings began appearing as early as the 14th century, and their popularity originated because of a 15th century decree that made urban settlers pay taxes to the crown under feudal rule. If the king’s inspectors came collecting, the villagers could easily demolish these inexpensive buildings into a pile of stones and hide in the forest, and then rebuild them once they’d gone.

Great place where to have a break with handmade cakes. You have the possibility to buy some local food (prices are not exposed- please ask the price before to buy) and to sleep as well.

A small refuge discovered by chance along a country lane going towards the Abbey of San Nicola di Macugno. Very well kept

There is little to say. An almost obligatory point of passage for those who frequent the paths around Masseria Conghia, the Casetta was once a place to be avoided. Thanks to the work of the willing, it has now turned into a small welcoming oasis. Inside, cleaned and arranged, there is even a small collection of books and in general there is always a small reserve of water. A recovered place, which we hope will remain preserved.
