The tour lasts 1-1.5 hours. Times are currently displayed in Amrum. Footwear: barefoot to sturdy shoes. There are binoculars available, but not enough for everyone! If you have them, please bring one. Very interesting insights into the bird world and its adaptation to changing climate conditions.

If you want to spend the night in this beautiful idyllic place, you should definitely bring a mosquito net with you 😉 Anti-mosquito spray was even available in the hut 👍

The Fugletarn observation hut is located in the Rickelsbüller Koog and offers a wonderful view of the Rickelsbüller Koogsee. It is located in the middle of the feeder road and is accessible from the German side. At the foot of the dike there is also a small information pavilion that provides information in Danish and German.

There is a rest hut in the reeds here, and I was able to observe the spoonbill there. It has only settled here in recent years as the weather has become warmer.

There are two observation huts in quick succession directly on the cycle path. Swallows often nest inside the huts and there are information boards in front of the huts. Unfortunately, no birds were observed during our visit, either the distance was too great or the grass cover was too high and strong. Binoculars don't help either, which is a shame.
