Castell de sa Punta de n'Amer, the history During the 16th century, the need for guarded coasts arose when pirates from North Africa and the Ottoman Empire constantly attacked Mallorca. Gothic-style castle built at the beginning of the XIV century by order of King James II for residential use. Its structure is circular with three towers and a keep. The castle offers an excellent panoramic view of the city of Palma de Mallorca as well as the coast.

It is located on a hill 112 meters above sea level, which gives it privileged views over the city, the port, the Tramuntana mountains and the Llano de Mallorca; in fact, its name comes from the old Catalan bell veer, which means "beautiful view". Beautiful little town. Very romantic.

Beautiful medieval town with small narrow streets and quite a few cafes and restaurants. The climb possibly via the stairs to San Salvador castle is worth it

Punta de n'Amer is a peninsula on the east coast of the Spanish Mediterranean island of Mallorca. It is located between the towns of Cala Millor and Sa Coma in the municipality of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar in the Llevant region.
