The Katzenlochbach stream flows through the forest in a pretty wild way. It is exciting to explore it.

Allegedly, the Katzenlochbach is the only stream in Bonn that is still in its natural state and is allowed to meander through the valley.

The Melbbachtal starts at the street "Am Wingert", the old clothes and glass containers mark the beginning of the path behind the Melbbad.

In the deeply cut Klufterbachtal it is very pleasant to walk, especially on hot summer days. You can also cool off your overheated feet in the stream. 💧💦

A plaque informs that the deeply incised stream valley was formed in the Quaternary, Pleistocene and Holocene 800,000 years ago.
