Impressive rocks, beautiful road

I haven't seen anything so wonderful in a long time.

The Ibacher Schliff consists of red sandstone rocks

It is a very beautiful tour of around 8 km in length. Easy to walk. Varied and partly - along the stream - a gorge. The town of Rötenberg offers good parking at the church. There is also an inn here where you can relax after the hike.

The Ibacher Schliff is a section of the Schwarzwaldsteig. Caution is advised here, especially in heavy rain - hiking through it is then difficult or not recommended. Wild and small path like in a fairytale forest

Beautiful section on the varied Schwarzwaldsteig

A valley and a stream straight out of a picture book. Over small rapids and an infinite number of turns, it goes down into the valley. I imagined what it would be like if a trail were created close to the stream instead of the wood removal path. That would actually be a very special experience. Maybe there are good spirits in the Black Forest Association who will tackle it.
