Up here the wind whistles loudly through the rocky gorge.

Unfortunately, there was no water flowing at the end of April 2025. At the beginning of June 2019, it was hot, but there was plenty of water in the gorge.

Crossroads. From here, the trail descends into the Pefki Gorge, climbs up to the village of Pefki, and then back along the western slope above the gorge toward the beginning of the gorge and to Analipsi.

A beautiful mountain trail. It's not dangerous and doesn't require any special fitness. The view of the opposite rock massif and out to the sea and Analipsi is truly magnificent.

You can only get through here in summer and autumn. In winter and spring there is waist-deep water with a current. You then have to scramble around outside and hop over the bubbling creek, which is a bit more challenging.
