Lonely roads in beautiful scenery.

The view is fantastic, but unfortunately the antenna mast spoils the overall picture a little. But if we want to have today's technology available anytime and anywhere, it unfortunately has to be somewhere up here.

Corfu’s highest peak, often locally referred to as its “crown”, is a particularly rewarding climb that only really gets steep approaching the monastery at the summit.

The transmission tower on the highest mountain in Corfu. Be careful, up here the phones often dial into the Albanian cell phone network. It's best to turn off roaming beforehand to avoid unpleasant surprises when you receive your next cell phone bill.

At the very top of Corfu's highest mountain you can enjoy a cool drink and look into the distance.

the hike around the mountain is recommended. the peak is the ugliest i have ever come across. it was vandalized with dozens of aerials and visited by car by lame-footed tourists

Between all the masts a brilliant panoramic view over Corfu, Albania and, in good weather, to Italy. Definitely worth going there.
