This is an unexpected gem of a find, a series of 7 bridges which crisis cross the beck with small waterfalls after heavy rain.

A stunning waterfall near Bolton Abbey in the Valley of Desolation. There are a number of waterfalls here, but this one is likely the most impressive. It is extremely picturesque, with a small pool and a stream that leads into a glen. An absolute must to see!

Fantastic views from Hellifield Crag, in any direction. There is a gorgeous rocky outcrop here with green and extensive views of the area. The highest point is indicated by a trig point, and just a few steps away is a rather gorgeous waterfall. Life is good, eh?

take the downhill path to the left of the main trail and cross a small bridge. Approx 100 along is a descent to the right on a rocky path which brings you to the waterfall

Ensure this is on your trail when you walk around the Abbey.

Small hidden path can be slippy when dewy in the morning, is a nice little challenge and rewarding when close.

In the wilderness. a nice path through the countryside. Can go to the waterfall or try a challenging hike up the hill.
