The new bridge replaces the sometimes daring wooden construction, which first went down and then steeply up again.

Although many think of this kingly statue as representing King Arthur, it is in fact a representation of all of Tintagel's royal history. The bronze sculpture is called Gallos ('Power' in Cornish) and was created by artist Rubin Eynon. It's an impressive work, standing at 8 feet (2.4 m) in height and provides a superb foreground to the ocean views.

From Barras Nose you can look south west towards Tintagel Castle or north east towards The Sisters. Either way the views are breathtaking. The headland was the first coastal area to be acquired by the National Trust, back in 1896 for the price of £505.

I think you have to pay to cross it but it's worth just checking it out anyway

Epic views over Tintangel bridge

To access both halves of the ruins of Tintagel Castle, which sits on its own tiny peninsula as well as on the Cornish mainland, you'll need to cross on this modern steel bridge, which is an adventure all of its own. This bridge is also a great spot to get photos of the castle and the coastline, as long as you don't have a fear of heights! Access to the bridge is included when you buy a ticket to visit the castle, which is worth doing if you want to find out if King Arthur really did call this corner of Cornwall home...

Coming to Cornwall this is a must see.

I don't have pictures of the bridge because when I was visit Tintagel there was no bridge. It's quite new there. All Tintagel is worth to see.

Tintagel it's quite famous place worth to visit and see with spectacular views.

There is a nice little restaurant or cafe that is always worth a visit, especially for the homemade cakes.
