Small parking lot for a walk through the Moore Nature Reserve with an information board about the wildlife found in the nature reserve.

Spike Island is a park in Widnes, Halton, North-West England. It is an artificial island between the Sankey Canal and the estuary of the River Mersey containing parkland, woodland, wetlands and footpaths. If you go down to the sunken garden between Sextons and the flower shop, you'll see the force of the water from the lower dam into Slitten Brook, and it flows into the Bridgewater canal

Spike Island was the site of the famous outdoor concert by the Stone Roses on May 1990. Created in 1833, it had the world's first rail-to-ship dock. Now repurposed for recreation with parkland, wetlands, woodland and footpaths.
