One of the more rural routes on Hayling Island, runs along the east side of Langstone Harbour, linking the mainland almost to the passenger ferry to Southsea.

Hayling Island is connected to the English mainland of Hampshire by Langstone Bridge (also known as Hayling Bridge) which is derived from its location at the coastal village of Langstone1. Historically connection was by a causeway known as the Wadeway, this was severed by the construction of the Portsmouth and Arundel Canal.

The harbour is home for charter fishing boats and commercial fishermen, and hosts two commercial aggregate wharves. Tricky for bikes in the Winter, but a nice little route way from traffic.
