Historic village in the municipality of Biella.

Also called Porta d'Oropa, it was built in 1780, in place of an ancient medieval gate, no longer with a defensive function, but a celebratory one: in fact, it recalled the visit of King Vittorio Amedeo II and Queen Maria Antonia Ferdinanda of Spain to the city of Biella and the Sanctuary of Oropa which took place in the same year. The door has an arched structure and is made with exposed bricks. At the center of the arch there was originally the Savoy coat of arms which was chiseled in 1798, during the period of the French revolution.

Together with the Bottalino fountain, the Porta della Torrazza marks the entrance to the city of Biella, straight into the heart of its medieval city. The portal, which had no defensive purpose but a celebratory one, was built on the occasion of the visit to the city of Biella and the Sanctuary of Oropa by King Vittorio Amedeo III and Queen Maria Antonia Ferdinanda of Spain.

The Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie del Barazzone, otherwise also known as the Church of Madonna di Loreto or simply del Barazzone, is located just outside the town of Sandigliano, on the road to Candelo. It is the result of a seventeenth-century expansion of an original smaller sixteenth-century church.

small oratory dedicated to San Rocco, protector from the plague perpetually accompanied by his faithful dog with a loaf of bread in his mouth (with which he saved him from starvation in prison), dates back to the century. XV. Perfectly restored and visitable, it is so beautiful that it alone is worth a climb to the Piazzo (for those on foot I recommend the free funicular with a subsequent stop in one of the many typical restaurants)
