I don't know who recommended this but this is not possible for any vehicle. It is almost impossible to walk. My tip, stick to the indicated route.

Once you take the turnoff toward Illgau, there's suddenly very little traffic, and after Illgau, it gets even better. A beautiful climb, but on the steeper end of the scale for a racer ;)

You definitely have to push or carry it. Don't underestimate it on rainy days. But it's still "well" prepared. You can reach it from Stoos by e-bike in a 7.5km climb. The single trail up to there is a real challenge. There is a path underneath that you can use. Make sure you decide beforehand, it's almost impossible to turn around on the single trail. At the end you have to climb more to get to the pass. All in all, it's worth it!!!

When you get up here, you have a) a wonderful view to the south and b) many options to continue on (Rotenflue, Holzegg, Ibergeregg). Each destination is worth it, so you have to come here several times :-)
