Dug out of the solidified volcanic ash, This “homes” were made by silver miners. It's unsure when they were first constructed, but after the miners left, they continued to be used until the 1970s, when they were mostly abandoned.

Upon reaching the top you will find an impressive panoramic view of mountains and valleys! You can also find works of art of erosion, perfect for excellent photographs.

Grimshaw Lake, named after Edwin Lewis Grimshaw, was created by building a dam on the stream coming from the hot springs of the Tecopa Mountains. The lake was created to attract ducks to the area for hunting, but It's now part of an important ecosystem as a home for several flora and fauna.

The Amargosa River's enduring beauty and deep-rooted cultural heritage make it a great place to spot the fascinating flora and fauna that make the southwest so special.

Thinking of a hot springs resort, you get the image of a fancy location. This is anything but this. You could even call this spot sketchy, but we had fun after we accepted the standard :)
