Hradec nad Moravicí Castle is a large castle complex in a picturesque setting, not far from Opava. It consists of a white neo-Gothic castle and a red palace with characteristic towers. The interiors contain richly decorated halls and exhibitions related to the history of the Lichnowski family, who lived there. The castle is surrounded by a romantic park, perfect for a walk. Access by road is easy, although it is worth watching out for traffic on the narrow access roads during the tourist season.

Fryštát Castle in Karviná is a beautiful classicist chateau located in the Czech region of Moravia-Silesia. It once belonged to the aristocratic Larisch-Mönni family and is one of the few well-preserved residences in this mining region. The interior of the chateau features richly decorated halls with original furniture and art collections, and visitors can feel the atmosphere of the old aristocracy.
