I do not understand where this warning comes from, because while the trails leading to the pass are quite difficult and can be potentially dangerous, the flattening on the northern side of Felderjöchl itself is devoid of any threats. Of course, you should not forget that these are mountains and almost 3,000 meters above sea level.

The ascent is really demanding and it is not that easy to find your rhythm. You can recover from the first steep ramps around 10 percent on the longer, flat plain, but you need a few more grains in the end, especially for the steep serpentines. On the descent I also got into a summer thunderstorm - a very special experience.;) After all, there was a bit of cooling from the 35 degrees on the way up.
