I stayed at the old racecourse with a camper van group. It was my second ride to the tunnel Bring a torch or bike light, the over head lights help but are yellow, many people walking and don’t have a light. They just appear out of the darkness. The trail is loose gravel with many cattle stops and narrow bridge’s,Komoot gps was really helpful ,the entrance to the trail was hard to find. But the gps guided me well. My bike is a 20 inch wheel with fat tires a folding bike ,it actually rides the loose gravel better than the worn part used by so many riders.
