The walls of Albarracín are one of the city's most emblematic features and a fundamental part of its medieval defensive system. They were built primarily between the 10th and 14th centuries, with later additions. They formed part of the walled enclosure that protected Albarracín, along with towers and gates such as the Portal de Molina.
