Casas-Ibáñez is a municipality in the province of Albacete, located in the valley of the Cabriel river. In fact, there are several viewpoints that allow you to see the best panoramic views of the area (for example, the Balcón del Ensueño is highly recommended). Of its most notable heritage, it is worth visiting the 17th century church of San Juan Bautista and the Ochando chapel.

La Pared is one of the starting points of several paths that head towards the Hoz del Júcar. The two most traveled are the one that goes to the old hydroelectric power station and to the dam. Here there is a fountain with drinkable water and several shadows where you can rest.

This small municipality is located on top of the hill very close to the cliff. If you want to visit it, I advise you to park on the outskirts, since the streets are very narrow and there are not many places where you can leave your car. There are several marked paths that you can walk along the top of the hill and enjoy the best views of the reservoir. They are a real wonder!

I do not recommend sleeping in the shelter. The roof is very broken and half fallen. I have slept in my tent and it was fine. If you are lucky there are figs on the trees. The village of Balsa de Ves is nearby and there is a bar for breakfast.
