The section between the White Bridge (L96) and the Rabental junction is likely to be challenging for the average hiker, as it has been ploughed up by wild boar and fallow deer in places, and is heavily overgrown and bushy due to infrequent use. The trail also contains sections that can quickly become muddy and deep in wet weather. Those who don't mind all that might find it quite enjoyable. This section is part of the Bode-Selke Trail, which connects the Selke near Güntersberge with the Bode near Treseburg.

The Glashüttenweg is difficult to navigate in the section from Ahrensklint to just before the Brockenstraße. Lots of rough gravel, which makes biking quite difficult!

Beautiful hiking trail. Can also be done quite well on a mountain bike. Some rough rubble in places. But doable. Have fun trying it out.

The hiking trail is heavily overgrown and a very narrow path leads along here. Beware of ticks and please wear sturdy shoes 😉

A really great path to Thale, always along the Bode. Be careful, even if the ground is dry with lots of rocks, it gets slippery very quickly. Please wear sturdy shoes.
