One of the peaks over 2000 meters

A fantastic hike that requires a considerable amount of effort and a certain amount of relaxation. N.B. Bring plenty of water if you do it in the hottest period.

Pizzo Acuto is the lowest of the two thousandths of the Sibillini Mountains, but has a very steep and sharp north ridge, which offers a challenge for expert hikers and mountaineers. From the summit you can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and peaks of the Sibillini, such as Pizzo Tre Vescovi, Pizzo Berro and Monte Priora.

Croce di Monte Bove is a rocky peak and the westernmost peak of the Monte Bove massif, in the Sibillini Mountains National Park. It is located at 1905 meters above sea level and dominates the valleys of the Ussita river and the Val di Bove. On its summit there is a large metal cross, which replaces an old wooden cross destroyed in the 1970s.

Monte Amandola is located at 1706 meters, and is part of the municipality with the same name. One of the stages of the Great Ring of the Sibillini passes here. The area is known for the white truffle. There are the eagle, peregrine falcon, wolf, and there is also the presence of the Marsican bear.

Pizzo di Mèta with its 1,576 m. above sea level is certainly one of the most fascinating excursions to do in the Sarnano area 365 days a year. The peak of Pizzo di Meta is located in the northernmost part of the Sibillini Mountains chain and in winter it can be reached with a beautiful snowshoe hike.
