Why would anyone recommend a mountain bike ride when cycling is prohibited throughout the forest is beyond me.

Nice, not too long hike with a wonderful view, which is also doable with children. The Burgstall Gorge is a special highlight for off-road children but also for adults. An approx. 20 m long rock crevice for slim people. But of course also the “summit victory” for young and old.

At 1061m, the Great Peilstein is the highest elevation on the Ostrong. After felling, the view from the summit of the Großer Peilstein to the north is clear (as of spring 2013).
