The Lautzebachweiher pond, better known to the people of Dautphetal as the paddling pond, in the forest between Dautphe and Silberg, is a beautiful destination in any season. In spring, hundreds of tadpoles can be observed growing on the pond's shore. A forest sofa overlooking the water invites you to relax. A very beautiful park. The 32-hectare park, freely accessible, surrounding Rauischholzhausen Castle, is a great destination for a tour or a stopover.

The Schweinsberger Moor is one of the last primeval landscapes in Central Europe. It has been under nature protection since 1977. It is the largest contiguous reed area in central and northern Hesse. When the breeding season starts again, there will definitely be a lot of birds to observe here.
