A monument commemorating the January Uprising insurgents is located in the "Powstaniece" (Insurgents') forest near the site where the insurgent forge was located in 1863. An obelisk at the site of the insurgent forge and a small shelter are located slightly to the right of the monument, towards the Blizna River.

Lake Studzieniczne in Augustów is a picturesque reservoir located in the heart of the Augustów Forest, which is part of the Augustów Canal trail. Surrounded mostly by pine forests and wetlands, it delights with its natural charm and varied coastline with several islands, including the Brzozowy Grąd reserve. On the southern shore is the famous Studzieniczna with the sanctuary of Our Lady of Studzieniczna, a popular place of pilgrimage and walks.

The area around Hańcza and the town of Studziany Las is a fantastic area for both cycling and kayaking trips. Picturesque paths among the hills of the Suwałki Region lead through forests, meadows and near lakes, offering numerous viewpoints on Lake Hańcza and the Czarna Hańcza valley. The river here is a popular kayaking trail with a calm current, also ideal for beginners. For cross-country and trekking cyclists, it is a great place for all-day trips with the possibility of combining cycling with a short kayaking trip. It is worth preparing for diverse terrain and taking a camera - the views are exceptional.
