A super highlight is the Düdinger Moos

The Düdingen Möser were subject to numerous disturbances in the 20th century. The peat of this Möser, which took several thousand years to form, was intensively mined during the Second World War to counteract the lack of coal. This resulted in several bodies of water and the habitat began to be colonized by trees and bushes. The use of part of the Möser as a waste pit and for fish farming, as well as the construction of the A12 motorway, had a major impact on this habitat in the 1970s.

The marking is on the highest point of the Fuchses Schwyberg. Schwyberg is just the umbrella term for the entire range of hills from Plaffeien to Schwarzsee. The highest point of the Schwyberg (entire range of hills) is above Plaffeien near the Alp Gross Schwyberg at 1645m. The Schwarzsee is the highest point of Schwyberg at 1620m. The correct name would be Fuchses Schwyberg. If you go to the Fuchses Schwyberg in Schwarzsee, you usually only need the short form Schwyberg instead of Fuchses Schwyberg. There are a number of other Schwyberg names all over the hill range. E.g. Schatters Schwyberg, Hapferen Schwyberg, Schmutzes Schwyberg, Hooi Schwyberg, Gross Schwyberg, etc

The lake tour can also be perfectly extended with the tour around the Rohrmoos. At the Gypsera car park, walk up the street next to the SchwarzseeStärn restaurant, where you have a beautiful view of the lake. At Schlossisboden then back down in the direction of the Burstera residential area, then the tour around the Rohrmoos and along the hiking trail along the Sense back to the Gypsera car park. Very worthwhile additional loop with little hype ;-)

Beautiful vantage point over the Schwarzsee. From here you have several options to extend the tour or to choose the direct descent to Schwarzsee.
