A great place with wonderful hiking trails

I was there for the 3rd time yesterday. The first time the food was so-so. Last time the tarte flambée was really great, which is why I was there yesterday. Probably for the last time! I was served in a friendly manner by an older lady, and again I ordered a tarte flambée and a large Coke. The Coke came quickly, but I had to wait an hour for the tarte flambée. In between, about 8 couples came and got their food relatively quickly. In between, I waved for a waiter in vain, but I was ignored. After an hour, someone finally came, but she didn't know about my order. They wanted to reorder the order quite grumpily, but since I still had several kilometers to go on my bike, I decided against it. Mainly because the staff acted as if it was my fault that I didn't get any food because the numbered ashtray was at the wrong table. Well, I paid the 4.30 euros for the Coke with a 20 euro note. The waitress gave me back 4.50 euros and thus gave herself a tip. I was so stunned that I couldn't say anything. I like to give a tip when everything is right. But I have never seen a waitress give herself a tip like this before.

Actually, everything has already been said about the Saar loop, but I have to say that I was very impressed and happy to be able to experience this in the beautiful weather. Unfortunately, as I was touring alone and had a lot of luggage on the bike, I couldn't go up the tower for an even better view.

Losheim reservoir Surrounded by natural landscape, the Losheim reservoir presents itself to visitors as an attractively designed recreation center. It was built under the direction of Mayor Raimund Jakobs of the municipality of Losheim over a three-year planning and construction period with major state funding from the federal and state governments. The groundbreaking ceremony was attended by Prime Minister Dr. Franz-Josef Röder and the mayor on September 26, 1972. With a length of 1,200 meters, a maximum width of 400 meters and a capacity of 1.5 million cubic meters of water, the lake covers an area of 31.1 hectares. It was inaugurated on April 28, 1974 and handed over to its intended use. With its water sports opportunities and hiking and jogging on a four-kilometer-long circular path, it has already been the destination of millions of visitors.
