This natural wonder is the Tufière de Saint-Ciergues. It is a small tufa formation created by the deposition of limestone on moss, forming a series of small waterfalls. Tuff is a porous stone which gave its name to the site. You can enjoy the view of the tuff and the surrounding forest, but be careful not to step on it, as it is very fragile and needs to be preserved.

Lac de la Liez beach is a sandy beach which offers a beautiful view of the lake and the dam. You can swim in the lake when the green flag is raised, which means the water quality and safety are good. The beach also has a solarium, volleyball court, playground and picnic area. A first aid station and toilets will make your task easier. The beach is open from June to September, from 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Henri IV gate is a monumental gate which dates from the 17th century. The gate leads to the Sous-Murs district, where you can see the old tanneries and the city's defensive walls. The gate itself has a niche with a statue of the Virgin and Child, and was once adorned with a statue of King Henry IV riding Pegasus. You can also admire the view of the surrounding countryside from the gate, which is located on a steep slope.

Viewpoint located at the bottom of the lake, along the path that circles the lake. The view is perfectly unobstructed, right in line with the whole lake, the dam and the town center of Langres behind. Gorgeous.

This beautiful structure with the architecture of a viaduct is the highest of the 4 dams in the Pays de Langres. It forms the Lac de la Mouche, undoubtedly the most peaceful, preserved and bucolic of the 4 Langres lakes. The dam is surmounted by a small road which leads to Saint-Ciergues, a hillside village with an excellent restaurant.
