At the bottom of the Rhone Valley, while the river is still called Rotten here, a small pond reinforces the rural character of the place. This is the Baggilla, a pleasant place to rest after having faced the steep slopes of the surrounding mountains.

The picturesque Lüsgersee is located at an altitude of around 2170 meters and can be reached on foot in around 15 minutes from the mountain station of the Belalp cable car. This natural mountain lake is therefore particularly suitable for family outings. Children can observe numerous small animals here.

The Lüsgersee on the Belalp is the perfect place to cool off in summer. So if you are looking for refreshment, a swim in the lake is highly recommended. The picturesque mountain lake on the Belalp is located at around 2,170 m above sea level. The lake can be reached in around 15 minutes on foot from the cable car mountain station.
