Another beautiful glacial lake located in the Picos de Europa National Park. Like Lake Enol, the best time to visit Lago de la Ercina is in the summer months from July to September, when the weather is pleasant and the lake is not frozen. The views of the lake and surrounding mountains are breathtaking. The scenery is particularly beautiful in the afternoon when the sunlight illuminates the lake.
