Halfway along the Dents-du-Midi tour. Easy but quite long route. Very beautiful view of Lake Geneva at the start of the route then over the Illiez valley to Champéry. Some parts are a bit boring, you can't see the end! Possibility of stopping before the descent from the Antème hut and its very beautiful lakes. Very mineral place at the foot of the Dent-du-Midi where you can notice the very beautiful white layer, a sedimentary rock from the Cretaceous period (between 145 and 66 million years ago)

The Col de la Gueulaz, which peaks at 1,965 metres, hosted the 2016 Tour de France. The views of the Emosson dam and Mont Blanc are breathtaking.

superb 11 km climb with a gradient close to 9-10% over the whole route, less car traffic than on the Martigny road, beautiful view of the very steep valley then view of Trient and beyond if you still have a little lucidity in the effort ;)

The Bêtre road borders the course of the Vièze and reveals a pretty bucolic setting. It is not uncommon to come across a few hikers on the road so be careful!

The Champéry resort is one of the oldest tourist places in Switzerland and the first Olympic site in Valais, after hosting the curling events during the 2020 Olympic Games. The village reveals a unique charm and authenticity with its streets picturesque villages bustling with small shops.

Wonderful little gem! The Rue de la Cha provides an unpaved connection to Finhaut, which I even rode on my racing bike (but it's better to enjoy the stretch on foot). This makes a very nice round trip possible with the Forclaz!

Champoussin is a picturesque mountain village known for skiing in winter and hiking in summer. The climb is relatively calm during the summer.
