The Collado de los Pastores is a beautiful landmark in the Sierra de Guadarrama, located in the area of La Pedriza, near Manzanares el Real, in the Community of Madrid. One of the popular routes to reach the Collado de los Pastores begins at the Canto Cochino car park. San Blas Viewpoint

One of the most recommended routes through the Guadarrama National Park for gravel or mountain biking is the one popularly known as the “Pista de las Zetas”, which ascends from Canto Cochino to Collado de los Pastores, at the base of the Ball of the World and Maliciosa. The route runs entirely on a dirt track, except for the first two kilometers and, due to its moderate demand (about 1,000 meters of elevation gain), it is only recommended for people with minimal physical preparation. The route can be done clockwise (Canto Cochino, Berzosillo, Collado de los Pastores...) or counterclockwise (Canto Cochino, Charca Verde, Cruce de la Nava...), the second option being more bearable, since the ascent It lasts for more kilometers, resulting in a less demanding average slope. On the hill is the picturesque viewpoint, an excellent place to enjoy the best views of La Pedriza in its entirety.
