There is a Holy Cross and a commemorative stone at the top of Lacken Hill to the 2,000 or so rebels who died in the area during the Battle of New Ross in the 1798 rebellion. A surreal reminder of violence amongst such beautiful surroundings.

Nice trig pointed summit marked by a trig point and a rather large communication mast that is local landmark for miles around. Great hike to the top and lovely views over to Blackstairs mountain and the surrounding countryside.

Beautiful spot and a cracking trig point area. Can't tell you much about the views seeing as the weather is awful.

Tara Hill is an isolated hill and associated village near the Irish Sea coast in north County Wexford, Ireland. Though only 253 meters high, it dominates the landscape of northeast Wexford. It provides extensive views of the Wexford coast line, from Courtown harbour to Castletown. It is a designated Marilyn. It has a cross on the summit.

Croghan Mountain or Croghan Kinsella at 606 meters (1,988 ft), is the 211th–highest peak in Ireland on the Arderin scale and the 258th–highest peak on the Vandeleur-Lynam scale. Croghan is situated at the far southeastern end of the Wicklow Mountains on the Wicklow and Wexford border, in Ireland. It is a designated Marilyn and has a trig pointed summit.
