The Blechhammerweiher (Hammerwoog) is colloquially just called Blechhammer. It is located in a nature reserve which is also the most beautiful local recreation area together with the Vogelwoog with restaurants to the west. At the eastern end of the pond is the Hotel Blechhammer with a restaurant (but no longer open since 2020). Furthermore, the naval comradeship clubhouse. We were totally thrilled by this small idyllic bathing pond. There is a parking lot, playground, kiosk with beer garden, toilet and changing rooms and a non-swimmer area. There is no lifeguard, but also no ticket booth here 😉👍!

You have to try the honey at Uwe's art coffee. He is so great !! On some weekends there is live music from Uwe !! There is also a beautiful forest playground for the little rascals. Very nice place to end the evening. Around the Vogelwoog you can go jogging and hiking very well. And if you want to do a bigger round, you still run around the metal hammer.
