Here at the hut there is a barbecue area and several benches for sitting.

There is good parking at the Waldsee car park. A ten-minute walk takes you to the lake where you will be greeted by the many ducks.

An Ice Age glacier carved this cirque lake out of the Buntsandstein. It was once used by the raftsmen as a swell pond to wash the felled trunks down into the valley with the accumulated water. Due to its pristine nature, the Glaswaldsee is one of the most beautiful, clear blue eyes of the Black Forest. The name of the lake comes from a glassworks that stood in the Seebachtal together with a hamlet in the 17th century. In earlier times, glass for the bottles of the Rippoldsauer Sauerbrunnen was produced there. Great place for beautiful pictures

An artificial drinking water reservoir that can be easily reached by MTB or on foot. It's worth walking around.

Idyllic lake with lots of benches and the food in the restaurant was also very good. Has hot food all day.

From the vantage point on the lake, walk down to the lake and simply enjoy this idyll. It has many benches to take a nice break by far.
