The Promenade des Colverts offers superb views of the blue water lake and its small islands. This place is very popular with the people of Lyon. Its name comes from the Duck mallard, green collar, or mallard duck in Canada that you can come across with a little luck.

A few hundred meters from the village of Pérouges, let yourself descend to the hawthorn pond. It is a landscaped and well maintained place that is very pleasant and relaxing.

Lac de la Forestière is part of the large Miribel-Jonage park. Located at the eastern end, it remains wilder and less frequented by families on weekends. It offers a small haven of peace, well known to fishermen.

An excellent gravel trail that runs along the Grand-Large reservoir. The towpath is part of the Via Rhôna.

Aubepin Lake is a water reserve created artificially in 2005 by the municipality of Meximieux. This one-hectare body of water was built on an old canal which feeds the Moulin Favre, whose wheel you can see still in action at the end of the body of water. This green place will be ideal for a stroll and the signs that line its outline will allow you to learn a little more about the surrounding fauna and flora.

Small lake that you can easily miss if you don't open your eyes!
